The 21st Century's greatest challenge is quality leadership. A brief overview of the latter part of the 20th century gives evidence of the tremendous leadership vacuum prevailing throughout the world today. Whether it is in the post modern, highly technical societies the most important assignment of the believer is to 'disciple the nations.' The word 'nations' comes from the Greek word 'ethnos' which means 'common groupings!'

Discipleship of the nations more precisely means discipleship of common groupings of disciplines. Discipling believers in every discipline should be the goal of the each disciple of Christ. This takes wisdom, diplomacy and skill. Just as every ethnic grouping has its own language and culture, so too does every discipline, whether it be the world of entertainment, business, education, politics, or technology.

I believe 'the harvest is plentiful but due to lack of training, the laborers are few.' These missing elements can only be brought into existence through people who are trained scholastically and spiritually in leadership under and apostolic covering that focuses on impartation, activation and release. The International Leadership Institute (SILI) is an environment for such training.

SILI is dedicated to the task of providing a place for leadership identification, development, refinement and deployment of world-class quality leaders committed to the highest ideal of morality, principle, biblical values and Biblical foundation. The main goal of the Institute is to prepare its students to fulfill their purpose, and reach their place of destiny with a spirit of excellence in leadership. With this type of preparation, students will be equipped to enter every man's world or discipline.

At the foundation of such training is the curriculum developed by the Dean, Dr. B. Alexander Ingram. It addresses the issues of the Third World experience head on, including the technical, scientific and academic areas, it also goes to the heart of the oppressed mind, restoring a sense of purpose, potential and value to the student.
